Pricing & FAQ

Clear pricing. No insurance middleman.

PTP is a private-pay practice. Here's what our work costs, why we built it this way, and answers to the questions we hear most.

Why private pay

Your care stays yours.

Privacy

No insurance claims, so no diagnosis has to be sent to an insurer to get started.

Your pace

No insurer deciding how many sessions you get. We plan the work around your goals.

Built around you

Counseling, mental performance, and leadership work shaped to what you're actually facing.

Questions

Common questions.

Don't see yours? Ask on your free consult or text us at 713.487.8340.

Do you take insurance?

No. PTP is a private-pay practice, so we don't bill insurance. HSA and FSA cards are welcome.

Do I need a diagnosis to get started?

No. Many people come in simply because pressure is taking up too much space. We'll talk it through on your free consult.

How does the free 20-minute consult work?

Request a time on our booking page and tell us a little about what's going on. Our team replies within one business day, and on the call we'll talk through what you're looking for, answer questions about fees, and recommend next steps. No obligation.

Is this in person or online?

Both. We see clients at our office in League City and by telehealth anywhere in Texas.

Do you offer sessions in Spanish?

Yes. Sessions are available in English and Spanish.

I'm booking for my teen. How does that work?

Start the free consult as the parent or guardian. We'll walk you through consent and next steps, and talk about how to involve you along the way.

What happens in the first session?

We get to know you, what's going on, and what you want to be different. Early on, you'll identify your core values so the work is anchored in what matters most to you.

What if I'm in crisis?

We are not an emergency service. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.

Good Faith Estimate. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for services. You can ask us for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule. For more information, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
